I've been looking forward to Spore for almost two years...I'm really hoping it will be released soon!

Re: PC games of 2008
I'm looking forward to Spore as well. I suppose you could say that I've been waiting 10 years for Starcraft2, though!

Can't wait for Fallout 3 or Black Shark. Storms of War: Battle of Brittan should be pretty sweet too. I guess I'll need to start saving for a new video card now.

DEUS EX DEUS EX. Hopefully the pc version won't suffer from being ported to the console.

Re: PC games of 2008
Spore has me VERY curious, thought I wonder how much "fun" I will have with it (sims was interesting to me, not "fun"). Definately an automatic purchase for me regardless.

Re: PC games of 2008
I know what you mean. I was entertained by the Sims for about an hour, then realized that it was just a huge timesink with little entertainment value. I figure at the very least, I'll get a few hours of enjoyment out of the game, and if I find it similar to The Sims, I'll give it to my kid.

Re: PC games of 2008
Empire: Total War
I fell in love with the series way back and they've been going in a great direction, always adding new features and improved gameplay! Naval battles!!! But I still wish they made a multiplayer feature including the TBS as well as the RTS like in campaign... But I understand how that won't be fun. ![]() I was a fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the prequel looks pretty good. That as well might be on the automatic buy list but I'm not too sure... Gosh sometimes I wish you can just rent PC Games!
