Solid Rocket Booster Video
WOW. Just... WOW...
Just saw this on Slashdot.
Stay with the SRB as it falls back to Earth. Be sure to see Discovery fly away at ~02:58. I'd like to tell you that's the coolest part, but it's not. Watching this thing freefall back in is amazing to me.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Solid Rocket Booster Video
Watch the first one, I've never seen something so astounding as when the booster rockets detach and you just see, IN space, the space shuttle gliding away. To know what you are seeing is real...it makes me realize what an accomplishment it is that we can get up there and DO that, let alone recover the camera.

Re: Solid Rocket Booster Video
The fall back to earth was trippy. Kinda made me sick but proud at the same time. It's very impressive.

A new perspective of the Shuttle Launch
This video is perhaps one of the coolest I have ever seen. It is the launch and splash landing perspective of the shuttle's launch boosters. Simply incredible. I would love to have this footage in HD quality shown on a large screen TV.
