Shurikane

So I got called up to be the announcer for an ice skating show, happening this weekend. And man was it a blast!

I finally got to see what's really going on behind the scenes. The boss on the mic going "Stanby music, stanby follow, in 3... 2... 1... go music, go follow." The people in the back yelling "We ain't ready!!" and us trying to find ways to fill in. The music technician giving some ambience between the shows. The people telling jokes on the frequency.

"Are we ready?"
"No! We're waiting on one person! Three more minutes!"
"Crap! OK, send in the clown!"

Yes, we even had a clown. She managed to keep the crowd warm even though she did a whole lot of overtime. XD

I now know what Frame One, Frame Two and Frame Three mean!

So all in all, it was a blast. They want me next year and they highly suggest I apply to a radio station. Woo!
