I know the Japanese attacked the Aleutians during WWII, but I call bull on any actual Japanese bombing of Canadian soil. The Canadians did take part in the battle, however, so they were involved and were fighting each other on American soil, but not Canadian soil.

Canada was attacked by a "balloon" type bomb launched on January 12, 1945.

Hmm, well, I just don't recall any of my U.S. History courses (high school or college) covering Japanese balloon bombs on U.S. soil. WW2 era history that I do remember covering mostly dealt with the U.S. (us) doing it to the other side and the effects of the war on the world and on the average American.

FACT-
The Japanese sent 9.300 balloon bombs floating across the Pacific.
It is thought that less than 1,000 made it and exploded in places like Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North and South Dakota, and Canada.
They were called FU-GO by the Japanese, and were supposed to start forest fires.
It was kept out of the papers because the US didn't want Japan to know if their plan had worked, so they wouldn't send more.
Try keeping something like that from the media now.
