Re: How Smart Are You?

Are a slim chance and a fat chance identical (?)

The enumeration practically gave it away. Once I figured out what the hell you meant by enumeration in that context.

Here is another quick Fact or Crap (true or false)
Remember to show proof of your answer.

Subway "token sucking" was once a problem in New York City.

Re: How Smart Are You?

Ok, so the question is, did ScratchMonkey get it right, cause he didn't actually write in if it was fact or crap.
I am dissapointed that the question was that easy to solve though. It was a quick post, and will have to go harder next round.
What the heck, we'll give it to Scratch this time, but for all future posts I will need "your final answer" written out.

Tom's dad owned a toy store in Maryland in the 1950s. His dad set the prices for all the toys according to his own whims. For instance the following is a list of some of the toys:
An airplane costs 12¢,
A stamp costs 9¢,
A doll costs 7¢,
A top costs 5¢
So according to his dad's system, how much would a wagon have cost?

I wish you luck with this one.......................

Re: How Smart Are You?

Vowels cost 1¢, consonants cost 2¢. Thus, a wagon costs 8¢.

Fill in the blank, and of course explain how you did it.
6, 2 = 4
8, 4 = 3
12, 6 = 3
16, 4 = ?_________

Re: How Smart Are You?

Take the second number, divide it into the first and add one to make the answer. In this case 5.

If 6 pizza bakers can bake 12 pizzas in two hours, how many bakers will it take to bake 16 pizzas in four hours?

That one stumped me a bit. Good luck...............

Really? 6 bakers 12 pizzas 2 hours= 1pizza per hour per baker

so, 4 bakers to bake 16 pizzas in 4 hours!

Re: How Smart Are You?

well if 6 bakers can bake 12 pizzas in 2 hours it would take 4 bakers to bake the 16 pizza's in 4 hours

since 1 baker can bake 1 pizza an hour.

Re: How Smart Are You?

Since 6 bakers can bake 12 pizzas in 2 hours the rate of which a baker can make a pizza is 1 per hour, so If 16 pizzas need to be made in four hours, then you would need four bakers to make 16 pizzas in four hours.

This one might be easy for your spelling B's
I would like to know how many real English words you can come up with using the following letters. And all of the words have to be 5 letters long.
