Be careful with range banning. You'll end up banning some visitors who are in the same IP range.

If you set up registration so it requires Admin approval, you should be able to weed him out whenever he registers a new account.

Ya we figured that. For some reason, my partner wants to give him mercy. The troll has one strike left...

The most scary thing we came to realize, is that he is an admin at an affiliated clan.

One way It can be done is if the guy is mobile. He could be driving around town logging into unsecured wireless networks. It's really not that difficult to do. I thought some bans were directed at the cd key, no?

No that's his ISP. BeSiege doesn't have enough experience with WhoIs to realize that that's not the company the guy works for.

From what I can tell, the location of his ISP's terminal, that he uses, is in Toway, California.

Hah, I lived in Poway for a while.

Regardless, I've filed harassment charges with someone's ISP before. Most ISPs have an abuse address you can send TOS violations too. Never saw him again, probably because his mom got a letter telling her what a dickweed her son was.
