Re: What do you read?

Trade mags... I'm an engineer so anything to do with gear manufacturing, machining and technology related things. I don't read much for the simple enjoyment of it.. which I know I should.

But I do have a good collecton of Calvin & Hobbs and Dilbert literature. Yes, I believe comics are literature, especially those that are "slice of life" related.

Re: What do you read?

For work, I'm drilling through .NET documentation to figure out how to get C# to call not-.NET C++.

Re: What do you read?

Well I'm currently in between books, but as far as authors. R. A. Salvatore has quite a few good books, particularly for any nerd (like me) who enjoys some fantasy. Then of course there is the classic J.R.R. Tolkien in particular 'The Silmarillion'

Then there are trade/school books; 'Deconstructing the Elements' by Pete Draper, 'The Writer's Journey' by Christopher Vogler and a few of others
