You mean game 6? That was definitely not even close to pushing. Fluery ended up knocking the puck in himself trying to cover the puck, unfortunately. Sucks that the winning goal ended up being so soft/unlucky but thats how it goes sometimes. Good series, especially the last couple of games, great playoffs, and I am already looking forward to next season.

Bandit, Im not saying Fluery played average, he played great. However, a terrific 2 on 1 save while giving up 3 goals does not make an unbelievable game. As I said before, throughout the overtime he was always in the perfect position to make the save, thats not a knock against him that is a compliment. Anyways, we are probably arguing over semantics here.

Knocking it in himself because a Red Wing player slammed into him.

(-0:47, just slams into Fluery and he falls backwards, pushing the puck in)

You are being sarcastic, right? Zetterberg isn't even the closest guy to Fluery when he falls back. If you are being serious, I honestly don't know what you are looking at. There is no way you can say Zetterberg ran into the goalie, let alone claim he slammed into him. Nothing but a player following his shot like everyone is taught to do.

I must say as a New York Rangers fan watching Detroit win the Stanely Cup in Pittsburgh was bittersweet. Though at the last second it looked like the game would go into OT. It was quite memorable, and it was a great series!!

But I smiled knowing that the Red Wings brought the Penguins back to reality, was Mario Leimiux (sp?) in the crowd?

No. He was sitting in his private box.

Oh that last second we had 2 chances to get it in with Sid's backhander then Hossa's follow up...but just missed.

Fluery did give up 3 goals, but he stopped 55 shots......that's quite a game.
