This Day in WW2 History
I thought I would start a thread dealing with History of WW2, since there are quite a few threads already about it. Please feel free to add/discuss, I will post May 20th tomorrow, or if someone else finds something please post.

Well apparently not much else of magnitude regarding World War 2 happened on this day besides what's been posted. Although I did find this...
May 19th 1941 - German occupiers in Holland forbid bicycle taxis.
I went digging through my library in search of my book compiling tons of significant dates regarding WWII but alas couldn't find it. Will continue the search. =)

1941 - German paratroops invade Crete.

Here's a couple.. I don't think anything is going to beat my Bike Taxi thing though. =P
May 20, 1942 - Japanese complete the capture of Burma and reach India.
and
May 20, 1945 - Japanese begin withdrawal from China.
