I tried doing HL1 a few months ago but it was just basic in the graphics department to enjoy. I know Far Cry is a lot better, but it came around before I was into PC gaming. So, still worth ten bucks on Steam?

Also, I will definitely be giving Far Cry 2 a try.
I played the original about a year ago and loved it. SP only. It was challenging.

Check out the new map editor in action. I can't believe how good it is considering this is on the xbox version of the game. Wow, I hope it is as good on the PC...........

Wow, I'm impressed, looks a bit more fluid than the CryEngine editor (which I still need to get used to).

Wonder if the PC version will have more things to play with/available.

That looks awesome and a lot easier to learn than the CryEngine2 editor. I hope it is like the BFV editor in respect to its learning curve but also hope it has even more features on PC.

What do they mean when talking about persistency? As opposed to unlocks like BF2 it's like Crysis where kills get you money and you buy guns within the match?

Can't wait for this game. Really enjoyed 1. Setting and theme is a bit different here but looks very promising.

Yes! Exactly what I was hoping the PC editor would look like. Very similar to the Battlefield Vietnam editor in its simplicity but also capable of complicated tasks for more advanced users. It looks like the limit for number of objects won't be too bad either.
I hope there will be an option to make custom ground textures as well.
