Jack was awesome in his time. But Heath has really dethroned him as the face of the Joker. His performance was stellar. Beyond anything I really could have ever expected.

I went into this movie thinking "A new Joker...Jack's shoes are pretty big to fill, hope he can pull it off!" Well he took those shoes and made them look even better!

Re: Batman!

Heath took those shoes, put some dynamite in them, blew them up, put them on, and kicked Jack's @$$ with them!

Re: Batman!

Really great movie.

Ledger was great not sure how he ranks against Jack. Can't touch Mark Hamil though.

Re: Batman!

I've actually seen it twice already, loved it the first time around. The Joker really stole the movie for me.

Second time around I saw it after work on Tuesday with my roommates, and I was pretty tired. I didn't enjoy it as much, mostly because I knew what was coming and I was already very tired. If you're gonna see it twice, space it out I'd say. I usually don't see many movies in theaters twice, but could definitely say this is one I would/did.

Re: Batman!

Most disapointing movie for me just about ever. I loved the first movie and thought it was amazing. This was just pure trash.

I hated the ending, I hated the psyco bable, and clearly the message was total BS. I am so upset and disapointed right now I honestly want my money back.

It really disturbs me that soooo many people love this crap and call it one of the best movies of all time. I think our standards must be very low. To me it is similar to my let down of the Star Wars 1-3 trash on my level of disapointment.

/me ends rant and goes to ask for his money back.

Hehe, another fan of the animated series.

I haven't seen the movie yet. Does Harley Quinn make an appearance at all? (My cat is named after her, as is director Kevin Smith's kid.)

No Harley Quinn. To be honest I don't think this Joker could stand a relationship with anyone. Only really interested in himself.

Escapism is tremendously popular during tough times. Look at the Great Depression.

Re: Batman!

Have to say I am with the majority on this one! I sat for the whole film andeven though it was long, I didnt shift in my seat once!! My eyes were stuck to the screen and without doubt Ledger just did what I thought was impossible and that was to beat "Jack's Joker". All previous versions have always had that "well it's really a cartoon made into a film".

Not either of the Bale films did this though. They made it seem a lot darker, a lot more "believeable" as to why people may be running around in make-up and costumes. I did not see the film in IMAX but I will definitely be doing that before it goes to DVD and yep I also will buy this for my DVD collection!

I cannot wait to see what they might do with Penguine, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, etc, etc.....

Whatever anyone's opinion was/is, for me it was a nice little escape from reality for a few hours!
