Protection of the skys......F15 style

while "trolling" Aces high forums i found this........

http://www.hitechcreations.com/forum...postid=1403752

Quote:
Walk out and look up to see an F15 circling overhead and dropping flares! WTF?.........Looking around I was surpised to see that there was a small private aircraft close to him. I wonder if perhaps the guy in the private plane was either flying where he wasnt suppose to or not responding on his radio and the flares were designed to get his attention or alter his course.
3 pictures included

I flew it from beta, was a trainer, squad leader, etc, quit a couple of years ago. I still spam the crap out of the forums though.

If a you're a pilot, and your radio suddenly breaks, and a US fighter starts flying really close to you and launching flares, you'd have to be an idiot not to realize that you're doing something wrong...

Re: Protection of the skys......F15 style

well, while im not a pilot theres a few things you can do, which im sure norad says.

things like waving the wings...err though im not sure what they call that.

following the plane (LOL a small top speed of 160mph plane following a f15.....)

and then theres the transponder (spelling?) which can be changed to many different codes, like hijacking, radio failure etc
