Hmm, I set this up and I have explodingsilver on my buddy list, but as I'm watching the live feed, my xfire is showing him as offline??

Re: TG TV ~ live broadcasting thru xfire
From watching Silver just now, if you run live you might want to just ignore the popup messages, because if you click on the "Chat about this live video" link, the person playing will get popups from the chat. Demarcus and I seemed to confuse Silver by chatting with him during his maps the popup windows don't stay up long enough to read.

I prefer using the "id 10 t" error code. Written in all caps with no spaces makes the error code somewhat self-explanatory.

Re: TG TV ~ live broadcasting thru xfire
A note about frame rates while broadcasting:
I have SLI video setup on my home computer. When I first tried the Xfire broadcast my framerate dropped from 90+ to 50+ (I have all in-game options set to high). I got most of framerates back by changing Xfire video capture to half-size, 30fps. For people who still experience unacceptable framerate drop at this setting it is recommended to set the capture rate to 25fps.
P.S.

I have my settings set to medium and I'm lucky to get 22fps, and that's before broadcasting. Enabling broadcasting makes my machine curl up into the fetal position and sob...

Re: TG TV ~ live broadcasting thru xfire
Just watched a little of silver playing - this is so incredible! I'll see how my rig handles broadcasting later tonight!

Re: TG TV ~ live broadcasting thru xfire
I could definitely see a difference in silver running medium and high settings. Medium xfire video settings are much easier to watch. The high quality video is bigger and is much more pixelated than the medium quality.
