Also when I am using this ingame my ping as though in a pattern will go up and down from a little over normal (110 to 135-140) up to over 1000. Anyone else expeirencing this. My ingame fps seems to be ok as long as I drop the settings to medium.
Yea my ping does that as well. It typically is at 40 on the PR server, while running broadcasting it will hover at 80 and then spike to around 250-300 every few seconds.

Gonna be broadcasting 2142 tonight, see sig for link.

As a heads up, I live on a very busy street in the middle of Boston, so expect to hear sirens or other motortraffic, I probably won't notice, but may be annoying to some.

Going to try broadcasting again tonight, though the performance hit is pretty heavy. I only had 1 viewer last night, and don't think they stayed too long.

Strongly looking at OCing my CPU finally to see if this helps at all, could definitely use it for FRAPs, so I imagine it would benefit this somewhat.

If I can't get the broadcast going smoothly, I'll start FRAPsing as I accidently recording about 15 mins at full resolution last night night and wasn't affecting my play as much as the broadcast was.

Note that in settings theres a Bandwidth/CPU usage slider... not sure what effect it has though.

Re: TG TV ~ live broadcasting thru xfire

I've had problems running anything with xfire broadcast. There weren't any until lately, it wouldn't run 2142 + broadcast without dropping the frame rate to 10 = unplayable.

Going to try with other games at some point...

EDIT: found out to fix rates, lets see if you see 2142 http://www.xfire.com/live_video/mixaxfire/

(bah it runs game with 60 fps but stream is horrible 5-6 fps so...)
