So how can I join TG anyway?
I play Battlefield 2142 consistently on the TG server. I'm looking to join up and have fun, but I see there's a cost involved. I heard there's a way to join without paying a monthly fee. They said seek it on the forums, but I don't see any link for it.
Can someone help me out?

Well, TG is just a gaming community. If you feel like you're a part of the community, then you've already joined! We do have a supporting membership, which is what pays for the servers that you've already been enjoying. Supporting Members get lots of perks, including priority slots on our gaming servers. Yeah basically by signing up for the forums and agreeing to play by our rules and uphold the values that we stand for then congrats you have joined |TG|.
I would look up the 2142 server rules, SOP, and Gentleman's Agreement, read them follow them and contribute to the community as a whole and you will be a valued member. Feel free to use Team Speak, get to know people and have fun.

These two fine gentlemen already pointed out the facts about the community so I will just say welcome aboard!
