Re: I thought I was a geek.
Only you would find this one, FKD....
The pics of the rig are mind blowing....it looks like he went into best buy and said...give me 4 of those laptops, and 3 of those...oh and I need those 4 keyboards and 4 of those monitors...
I am trying to think. I bought a DSLR camera with extra lens this year for $600. So, I might be behind him in hobby expenses. His subscription fees alone are 100X more than the money I spent on games this year. Think of the value of a TG subscription for one year as opposed to what this person is paying.
This person is a "shut-in" online. He isn't interacting with anyone in a Massively MULTIPLAYER Online game. I think it's the definition of insanity.Without darkness, how could we measure the light?

Re: I thought I was a geek.
Has anyone noticed that all his characters look the same (except for slightly different weapons)?
That setup is mind-blowing. He should give away his gear to charities.

Re: I thought I was a geek.
He apparently played on my friend's server (before my friend quit the game). And, according to him, the guy not only had his characters interact with each other, but he also had discussions with himself (under different screen names and mostly about how great he was) on the forums.

Re: I thought I was a geek.
The last time I heard about this guy he was running about 6 accounts each on it's own box. I would be supprised if he could get as many toons up at once as he has accounts the game would slow to a crawl and he would not be able to get anything done because he seems to be running 4 instances of WoW on each PC/lap top even with all effects tuned down it would be a feat let along the bandwidth required.
I think he photoshoping his numbers up some.

Re: I thought I was a geek.
OOOOk this guy needs to find his penis check its still working and then find out who or what stuck it to his head, man 36 accounts, WHY lmao unless hes selling the gold/items/accounts for money then hes making cash, 30$ for the game, 50$ for an auto bot, $300+ for a maxxed character, not so shabby i guess
also another thought, i wonder how much his internet bill/electricity bills are each year, and imagine all the heat coming of those computers, and the dust from the room, oh and then theres the question of all that elesctricity in a cemi circle around him :P id be impressed if he isnt sterile, or mutated, or a micro meal and this is realy whats behind the "dont touch" panel on microwaves,Last edited by P.Stringer; 10-20-2008 at 09:07 PM. His parents will probably find him keeled over his keyboards dead one day. Then they'll go and sue Blizzard. Heh.
