Call Of Duty 5 PC Beta Now Available!

Hey guys, the COD5 beta for the PC is now available, so get your key at the call of duty website and give it a try!

My overall first impressions are fairly meh.
Really, it's done nothing to wow me. The characters feel sluggish, and the weapons sound like airsoft guns. I do like the artillery strikes though.

And for reference, I was running it at full settings, 1680x1050, without a drop past 60FPS, so it is fairly well optimized.

COD4MW engine is a great engine, that's why its optimized so well.

Yeah you do. When you go the download section for the beta, the site says the beta key will be in your account menu or something like that. Registering doesn't take that long and its free it seems.

Yeah, it's free, easy to register.

Buh, I'll probably grab this for the single player, but stick to 2142 for multi player fun.

It is pretty fun so far..even though the beta only has the 3 tiny little maps to play. Got levelled up on our server last night to 14 I think before I called it quits and went to bed.

I played it for about 10 minutes, didn't really hook me. I'll have to spend more time with it because so far, the gameplay doesn't feel any different than CoD4

i'm less then impressed with the connection issues.. it actually disconnects my router and i have to reset it.

if they get rid of that goof then sure i'll get it since i was having a blast on a tactical server.

had to crouch indoors(rule) and outside you could only sprint from cover to cover.

no run and gun it was quite fun.

It's not suppose to. Beside being WWII, its similar, its a good thing.
