Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
I think there was a poll once - but it was years back. I might not remember this right, search didn't turn up the poll or thread or whatever it was - but I think the average was 32 at the time, but it may have been 28.. or possibly 33.
I willing a bet TG has gotten younger since then.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
1. Age doesn't really seem to be a problem for me. I have found that people will, after first hearing me, think that I am 18 years old, I have even heard 20. I am really fifteen and a freshmen in highschool. When a conversation about my age comes up, it isn't rare that they will be surprised to learn my real age.
2. What do I think about older gamers? I'm not sure how to answer this, being too broad of a question. Some older people who I have played with have been rude and self-centered, others are very good team players and strategic thinkers, and I try to learn from them whenever possible.
3. I have been playing games for almost as long as I can remember. In my earliest years, educational games (Spy Fox, anyone?). My first real game must have been Mario Party 64. I remember my sister won a Nintendo 64 in elementary school, that was the game that came with it. After playing it, I remember saying "I don't think graphics could ever be better than this." Hehe.
My first online game was Star Wars: Battlefront II. I played hours upon hours of this, joined a clan (whose forums I visit occasionaly today. That clan had a strong influence on my life, my life would be a lot different if I had not joined.)
4. My first experience with TG was when I played Battlefield 2142. I was searching for information on unlocks, and I happened across a great guide here. I looked around and found a whole bunch of useful information.
A while later I got a copy of Battlefield 2, and played Point of Existence 2, and TG was the only server I played on. I loved the teamwork, fell in love with TG.
5. Besides my supporting membership, I try my best to be a good example of what TG stands for wherever I go. The theme of teamwork and maturity has influenced me in real life, not just in gaming.
As corny as a lot of the above sounds, I am not ashamed to say it.|TG-XV| Waldo_II

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
1) Well, I don't really like being as young as I am (just almost 16), but it's OK most of the time, especially since I look and sound a lot older than I actually am. It happened to me quite a couple of times when people didn't want to believe me that I'm so young, as people tend to think of me as being around 20 (when they hear me over TS) or even 20-30 (once on IRC

2) Nothing related to their age. I enjoy playing with younger people as well as playing with older people, as long as they are good teamplayers.
3) Tetris
. My dad bought himself a GameBoy when I was pretty young, and I really loved it. Later, I also bought myself a old, used N64 with Mario 64 and Zelda; both games were pretty nice. The most fun I had with games though prior to TG was when I got my first computer and started playing a lot of old SNES games on a emulator.
4)I stumbled over a video of...I think it was Superfast, in which he was leading a squad. I was amazed by how tactical you were playing, something I always missed when playing on random pubbie servers; soon, I registered myself an account here on the forums, read the SOPs etc and then started playing on our server. I liked it so much that I soon got myself a supporting membership and teamed up with the E1st, and since then, I don't even want to play on any other server anymore.
5) Apart from my supporting membership, what I give to the TG community are my skills as a mature, good teamplayer, who always hopes everybody is enjoying the game.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
1) I'm 16, but most of the peeps i met around the webz of PR thought i was 20-23 (lol)
2)Older Gamers are awesome! I'm part of the Project Reality Singleplayer team, and our main dev is turning 54 in 3 days!!!! its is fecking awesome to play with that guy!
3)First Game i ever played was probably pokemon on a gameboy, the 2nd was at a friends house on a nintendo 64, some james bond ego shooter(excellent game), 3rd one was Halo (Epic stuff)
so yeah, i pretty much knew that shooters where the way to go for me
4)I got to TG through Project Reality, i first got the modification, played on a couple of servers, but after i played on on TG more than twice i couldn't stop. I played a round with Dirtboy and nardini (iirc) and it was awesome playing with them, so i went ahead and made an account here, to get to know the people, and i was warmly welcomed!
5) $$
and knowledge, as i'm a TGU instructor, but a more general statement might be better gameplay, as i always try to keep the game tactical and close to the primer as possible.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
I was playing WoW last year, and a bunch of guys in game chat were comparing ages. They were all in the 12-16 range. So I said, I'm 11... in base 46.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
I believe you are talking about rocket power?
Anyway, I am most deffinately not the youngest here. However, I often find it amusing that people tend to think I am in my early to mid 20s even though I am 18(Halfway to 19).
I have been playing here for two years. When I was 16 people still thought I was 20. I find amusement in it.
I am also a temp admin for CSS, so I may be one of the youngest "admins" here.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
Opposite effect here. Most people think I'm around 14-15ish after hearing my voice. I'm actually up there at 19 (I know, VoIP/Teamspeak sucks). Uhh, I've been told I have a voice-to-age ratio similiar to Ferris's, and the beginning of this month was the first time I ever voted.
1) How do you feel about your age? It's... aging.
2) What do you think of the older (and oldest) gamers? I think disposable qualifies here. The old grouch. (Definately shouldn't have said that!) It's good to have a place where there's a variety in age, you get to play with all sorts of personalities who each have their own experiences (some have 42 years of it, hah!).
3) What was the first game you played? First online games I played were Age of Empires 2, and Counterstrike 1.6, so I'm not too old there
4) How did you come to know and be a part of Tactical Gamer? PR PR PR!
5) What do you think you can contribute to Tactical Gamer? I already give the PR community it's daily dose of TOW. Shouldn't that be enough?
Oh - and one more thing. Yeah, it's Rocket Power pwnage
