Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
1) Perfectly fine (14 btw)
2) I honestly look up to the older players. Seeing them play with the skill and maturity that they have is pretty cool.
3) Hot Wheels Turbo Racing (oldest I can remember)
4) I stumbled across the TG server one day after playing on pubs for a few months. Loved the gameplay and kept on coming back.
5) Maturity, assistance, and a good personality. Sadly, no money yet.As I walk through the Valley of Death, I shall fear no Evil.
For the valleys are gone and only Death awaits.
And I am the Evil.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
1) How do you feel about your age? Well, i'm not to young anymore, coming up on 17, but I feel I still have a lot of learning to do.
2) What do you think of the older (and oldest) gamers? For the most part they are awesome, though some believe they can treat younger players with little to no respect.
3) What was the first game you played? Super Mario World i believe when i was like 4.
4) How did you come to know and be a part of Tactical Gamer? Just found the best project reality server, then knew i needed to be apart of something great.

Re: Who is the Youngest Here?
Well this is more of a retroactive post, as I started playing with TG back around Christmas 2003 at TGNS (Natural Selection) and finally had the gall to register on the forums in April 2004. At that point, I was just 15. I was intimidated at the time, to say the least.
1) I feel that over my time here, age has rarely ever been an issue. That's about it. It really was remarkable to me how much this community took me in without any age-related questions.
2) They were role-models for me and I owe them a tremendous deal. A lot of my morality and ability to work with others in a team setting came from the same group of people I played with for two years straight. They removed whatever angsty "the adults are all evil" mentality that was rampant at the time, and helped me see that age was a poor construct for gauging maturity.
3) Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle II for the Game Boy. I ****ing bawled when I beat it. Bugs got Babs back and there was a little heart and monochrome fireworks. It was ****ing beautiful.
4) I had stumbled through Natural Selection servers, but couldn't find people like TG anywhere else. One day I stumbled into the TGNS server , playing on ns_tanith, and got recruited by Wyzcrak halfway through the game. I don't think anyone had ever extended me gratitude and appreciation in an online game before that, and the experience struck me so hard that I remember exactly where I was on the map when he told me to check out the forums. I remembered feeling practically honored. I was so happy that someone respected me for playing the game seriously and having a good attitude.
5) I've done my best to be an admin in new games as they were launched and I've always been doing everything I can to make new players feel welcome. I try my best to hold the community together, and to make sure everyone can share a fun experience with one another. I make sure to mediate conflicts and have spent many a long night trying to come up with rational and mature responses in sandbox discussions so that I could prove to the community and to myself that age didn't make a difference and that we were all in this together for our common goal.
Also, out of some deep seated paranoia, I never have been able to stop signing my posts with -Zephyr. I think it has something to do with the fact that I wanted to look proper back when I made my first post.
-ZephyrYou were once like the newbie who needed a hand from above and TacticalGamer gave you it.
You owe the newbie who comes after you that same outstretched hand from above on your honor as a Tactical Gamer.
Tactics at TG come from trust and friendship, not meticulous detail and rigid discipline.
Everyone should be assumed mature until proven otherwise.
We are no clan.
We are not a single game.
We are mature, intelligent, and cooperative individuals.
We are TacticalGamer, a community above and beyond its name.
