    It was probably just a bad experience I had. I did not want to start a debate or offend anyone of the respected game, and I definitely didn't want to say one game is superior to the other in any way. I don't have enough experience in the game to judge the amount of teamwork it has.

    My experience with 2142 was on a tiny map, all I saw were people mindlessly rushing around, no one sticking with there squads. Mind you, I was not on the TG server, and as it is for all games TG supports the teamwork is tripled. So, when I said "I can't see how 2142 would have near the teamwork you can find on PR or ArmA" it was my bias, as I have played on TG for PR and ArmA and not for 2142.

    I'll try it out again, if I can find the disc and make sure I get on the TG server.

    Again, if I offended you, which it seems as I have, I am sorry.

    I did play for about 30 hours total, almost a year ago. A little after I encountered TG. I assure you, I played on several different servers and, if memory serves me right, I never encountered anyone with VOIP or a SL that would issue orders.

    When one plays vBf2, POE2, or some other pub servers on PR, there is generally a lot less teamwork than in a TG server.

    I'm pretty sure that the PR server has undoubtedly the most traffic, but allot of our players are not regulars, or at least aren't active forum members.

    Are you sure you played on a TG server then? Almost every squad I've been in have players with VOIP and SLs that give orders. And I'm not jsut speaking about TG squads even a lot of the non TG pubby squads on the TG server use VOIP and give orders as well.

    As I stated above, I didn't play on the TG server. I don't know exactly which servers I joined, but I remember it wasn't TG. So, the comment I made was in general of the game. Not how TG plays it. In all TG support games the bar is raised and the teamwork is much greater.

    PoE is a bit better in other servers, because assets respawn almost instantly and on |TG|'s servers I have more fun than in PR. Before you flame the game, please play it on |TG| with some more well-known people.

    I will put this in, I use to play Bf2142 a lot even on TG servers and even then I did good to see any teamwork. Reason for the uninstall, even after I went out and bought the Northern Strike expansion cause so many claimed that was where the team work was at. I musta missed the team work nights A LOT. I am not saying things may not have improved and TG servers don't have team work going on in them now but then, they didn't.

    Sonic is right, very few ever had VOiP or if they did they would not use it. When a SL got on there that seemed like he had some sense to him then most of the squad members would not listen to him.

    I will also reinstall BF2142 and give it a go again to see if it has improved any, especially on the TG servers.

    I would have to disagree with that, on TG 2142 servers I'm sure people would have VOIP and listen to orders. There are many 2142 IHS and regulars, as shown by the poll.

    I only played a random pubbie servers that did this.

    It would appear that the several game communities within TG live in complete ignorance of each other. Perhaps you guys shouldn't be so quick to write us off as adrenaline-high 5 year olds with guns. Just because the pace of the game doesn't allow for hour-long detailed missions doesn't mean we don't utilize a vast array of tactics and efficient teamwork. If anything, we're the better for it because we can run, gun, AND plan all at the same time. Don't be hatin' just cuz there's more of us.
