Re: Most dedicated TG members?
Most likely BF2142. A good amount of players joined TG while playing BF2142 and/or on the TG 2142 server.
I voted other since I'm no longer as active on BF2142 as I once was. Mostly active as a forum poster in the Hardware and Software section.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Most dedicated TG members?
QFT. This kind of thread always leads to divisive, teamworkier-than-thou nonsense. This is not a contest. It isn't even a meaningful or informative survey. The popularity of this poll/thread within any particular player-base has no meaning in relative terms. The fact that some games didn't have get-out-the-vote drives doesn't tell us anything about those games.
Also - When this [completely well-intended] thread first got posted, it came very close to getting locked/deleted. Unfortunately, its gone about as expected - its life expectancy still isn't looking very good.... mkuyyyyy?

Re: Active TG members by game?
Well I posted a thread simular to this, minus the poll, cause I think polls are lame...
I wanted to talk about this because precisely this quote:
Dont anyone else see a problem with this? I mean to each their own game, but I think alot of these games and players can probably dig the different games, and all I wanted to get out of a thread like that is to figure out what other games are as active as the current games Im familiar at with TG (PR, ArmA, L4D). These 3 games I know have great fun players and definitely step up the game to the next level with the players on TG that play them.It would appear that the several game communities within TG live in complete ignorance of each other.
Judging from this thread it looks like 2142 probably has a good community as well. I never really was interested in it because of the futuristic setting, plus I kind of saw it as a Battlefield: Vietnam, that is to say, not a real sequel. I was excited for the star wars mod but noticed a distinct lack of any other mods being developed, which is the main reason I buy games these days (for the mods). A game without many mods, is a game Ill probably not see much game time on and I usually dont waste my $$$ on these games. But Im maybe willing to give a go with 2142 if the price of that game has dropped. Maybe some gameplay videos can be put in this thread to give examples of quality gameplay from 2142 @ TG? I could post some vids from PR and ArmA @ TG likewise to show some of the gameplay off. Also do they 2142 TG servers run any mods or custom maps?
Also I seen Call of Duty and Counterstrike has a following here at TG. Dont get me started on CSS heh, but I never really tried Call of Duty in a teamwork orientated server (all the server I ever tried, from COD1 thru 4, seemed very much all about kills and lonewolf mentality, I never seen COD played with teamwork in mind). Just wondering if these are highly active at TG and what kind of regulars play them? Also, do the TG COD2 / COD4 servers run any mods or custom maps?
I think this kind of thread would be good, for players to discuss common ground about why they play at TG, and show off all the cool experiences they have had in the different games. I think its natural that some people will prefer certain games, but I think definitely you can play more than one game type and enjoy them all. If this thread should have less stand-off like attitude and more of a show and tell type attitude, I think would be cool to open eyes for all the different mini communities in TG to experiement with games they wouldnt normally get involved with.

Re: Active TG members by game?
I think we could get more PR player participation in this thread if you would put "teamstacking" in the thread title....please!

Re: Active TG members by game?
See positive feedback! I know it hurts but lets be positive. It is great that we are using this opportunity to get cross communication between different games. Also alittle competition never hurt anyone. Lets face it we, all like video games and ALL video games stem from competition. Game Over = Loser and Credits = Winner
I think this is an exciting post.

Re: Active TG members by game?
Be good to join us in PR. Come into my squad if I'm running one, by all means and ask any questions. It's a bit different so there is some learning curve but it isn't heavy. You will find many people willing to do the same in their squads.
Conversely, I have to admit not ever buying 2142 being a bit of a BF2 player back in the dayo but knowing what TG is like, I am thinking heavily to at last get it and join your excellent community there.
All I can say, is that TG is the greatest and am humbled to put a tag on to represent you tag wearers, whatever game. Wailings and gnashing of teeths or laughs, it doesn't matter a hoot. Up for our good community! And am glad to be here.

Re: Active TG members by game?
Saw the video and from the responses I'm really considering trying 2142 out again, the teamwork from the videos I saw were excellent.
I can't find my game, but I'm going to buy a copy and try it out again.
Hope to you you in the future!
It is true, TG really cranks up the teamplay.

Is there really a need for this animosity? Just get along with it.
