    Super Bowl Sunday

Arizona Cardinals or Pittsburgh Steelers? Everyone, that I know of, is healthy and should be playing. I'm hoping its a nail biter down to the very end...where hopefully, Roethlisberger will lead the Steelers down the field and end with a game winning field goal kick by Reed.

Seriously I hope it is a close game...as Super Bowls should be. Any Card fans here? Football fans in general? Other NFL threads I've started have died. Makes me believe I am one of the very few TG football fans.

Hate the Steelers, hate the cardinals. (Don't like pro football all that much. To clinical.)

In these cases I root for the underdog, so.

    Go Cardinals!

i think this will be one of the best games in years, as long as the half time show doesnt suck. Im betting on the steelers, but rooting for the cards....
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

    Re: Super Bowl Sunday

Somebody at our local Comcast affiliate (and it appears to be our local Comcast affiliate only) decided it would be funny to splice a few seconds of hardcore porn into the video feed. Right after the Cardinal's last touchdown, a giant wang flashed onto the screen. Just what I didn't want to see.

    Re: Super Bowl Sunday

that was THE WORST called superbowl (or football game) ever.

Even if I had been pulling for the Steelers, I would have stopped in the 2nd half.

I almost fainted when they called the safety... I was SURE that one was going to go uncalled. It was not nearly enough to make up for the dozen or so HORRIBLE and blatant calls (or lack of call) throught the game.

    Re: Super Bowl Sunday

Holding in the end zone = safety. It was a correct call, you can't drag someone down with you as an offensive lineman. Roughing the passer was borderline, but that is how the league operates now. I thought the game was refereed quite well other than the roughing the passer. Since I am a Bengals fan I was rooting for the Cardinals, but I was quite sure the Steelers would win. At least we have the superbowl winner in our division, gives us someone to gun for. Amazing last drives in that game, especially Fitzgerald and Holmes TD.

Also, I can't stand commercials, but there were a few good ones, especially the Bud Light commercials. Yay for trailers too.

half the time i think they where looking for a flag just so they could rack more yards up. I dont think ive seen so many Personal fouls or holds....

Wow. Bet you weren't expecting that!

On the Steelers final drive, I think I lost my voice. I was yelling so much. Told my wife last night, right after the TD, that I was getting a Holmes jersey today lol
