Aspiring chefs & foodies
Anyone else here love food (cooking...eating..eating) as much as I do?
I made a social group for anyone else who happens to enjoy indulging in ze fine cuisine. I saw a thread with some great recipes so I know you guys are out there!|TG| RogueTheory

I enjoy the cooking and eating parts. The parts afterward not so much.
Most of the stuff I cook is Chinese and Taiwanese stuff (not the Americanized Chinese food one usually finds in restaurants).

I think it would be cool to have a forum section just to talk about food. Suggested name: Mess Hall. There are several threads that could be migrated there, including Tactical Recipes, the beer threads, and the various mentions of heart-unhealthy burger places.

wait there is a beer thread?
i love to cook and know im at university its cheaper to go to the local market and get a load of fresh produce and cook them. I recenlty made a beef stew with a pint of guiness in it. Delicious and i made enought that i can freeze it up and eat it at another time

For the time being join up!

The great thing about stew is that it's perfect for leftovers - what's left just gets even more delicious the longer you let it sit because it marinates itself, making the flavor more and more intense. Always make a lot!|TG| RogueTheory

I missed that thread, and searching for "scanwiches" doesn't turn it up. Cute idea. Not a good site to go to when you're hungry.

Re: Aspiring chefs & foodies
Doh! I read a backlog of about 60 TG threads yesterday, and my brain overflowed. And I didn't think to search for scanwich-singular.
