    Funny that a russian professor thinks that.......considering the russian population is decreasing more and more every year.......mexico will fall first, if anything and then, the U.S. will act like it is falling apart at the seams/prompting canadia to think a civil war is about to happen, when "BAM!" One American Division takes over canadia, recharges, then quells the riots in mexico and extends the texas boundry.

    Civil war? I don't think a civil war would occur, not quite sure who the sides would consist of. What i can see happening is a rising understanding that throwing money at the problem is not a solution in any form and that you really need to rely on the hard working people who want to work to improve our economy, not sit home and watch obama and his lackys working hard to make it all seem horrible when the economy has it's best days when he keeps his mouth shut. Russian's have always looked at the US as a progressive downward spiral and as the mortal enemy. Funny thing is that their economy hasn't done well even when the US was at it's prime.

    I read this article, laughed, and went out on the dock and had a cold drink. This kind of stuff has always been around and will always be around. I think England and Scotland is having more problems then the US.

    Major problem with that whole thing: the premise that the American people would allow it to happen. Unless mexico rolled into texas with a tank for every soldier, mexico's acquisition of the south would end at the rio grande. The EU would likely be stopped somewhere between new york and philadelphia. The chinese might actually achieve their goal of taking the west through sheer numbers, but if Red Dawn was any kind of predictor, they'd have to nuke oakland and los angeles to get very far.

    Bottom line, regardless of how crappy this country seems to be, if someone tried to invade, the world would either be shortly engulfed in a full fledged nuclear war, or it would simply cease to be a problem shortly after it began, courtesy of the US citizenship and their right to bear arms.

    Neither the EU nor China have the capabilities to send an invasion force large enough to take over anything. They'd first need air superiority, which they won't get.

    Chinese tactics are archaic and hold no weight. Their tactics like that during the korean war are still held under the suspicion that launched mass waves of men in any given direction will achieve success. They have a navy that is built open other nations navies but have ships that are made up of trawlers and and stolen designs. They have aircraft that they can't fly without crashing into stuff and a army that is just big but because of their location, they really have no one to invade. They'd never make it to japan, god only knows going to russia would just be funny. They strategically, no matter how big cannot go anywhere.

    Just cant see a revolutionary war in US at all. Maybe that was possible 150 years ago but not now. It would be possible to have alot of uprisings but i strongly believe that would be squashed sooner than later and those involved labled extremists. As for invasion not very likely by mass numbers. Of course if your assuming an economic take over (big buisness) that is another story.
