    I've been learning/playing for a few years, I still don't consider myself a musician though lol.

    Gunjunkie, how often do you gig?
    Before you judge a man, try walking a mile in their shoes first. That way your a mile away and you have their shoes.

    DJ (techno, but not just mixing tracks, I play a lot of self made loops) every couple of months or so. Right now I'm trying to finish up a live set of that for the summer months. Also play rock type stuff. Band has gigged once, but we've got more lined up later this year. I spent most of the ninety's gigging in 2 fairly popular bands back home.

    I guess I'll get in on this. My setup is as follows:

    Let's break it down. The Speakers are home made 15-inchers.

    The Amp is my pride. I own this 1968 Fender Bassman. Completely rebuilt back to '68 specs except for a bias adjustment on the primary channels to get a higher-end feq. response for a 6-string.

    Finally, my 2nd favorite. My girl friend, Kelly. This is as close as I get right now.

    A Jackson KE-3.

    Axe Numero Uno;

    Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany, its essentially a les paul standard stripped of its Pretty girl features.

    Axe Numero Dos;

    Gibson SG 1961 Re-issue.

    the Les is armed with Burstbucker Pro's, the SG Armed with '57 Classics

    If I need a Bright sound, Les Paul
    If I need a 1980's Rock/Blues sound, I run for my SG

    Re: any musicians here

    I got bored one day so I decided to rewire the single coils on my jaguar so that a switch that was previously a quite ineffective mids cut now lets me choose if i want my single coils to be in line or parallel. The parallel sound basically gives the same sound as a displaced humbucker, but still keeping the amazing tone that is given by the top pick up on the jaguar. If I had more money I would do more modifications, but I cant solder in my room at the moment which is quite annoying.
