Bringit.com

I don't know if anyone who reads this will remember me. I've been with TG for about 4 years now. Something like that... I've had my falling out, and I'm trying to come back in today.

The reason for this thread is that my state will not allow me to play competitively on this website. Bringit.com offers a way to play competitively across Xbox Live or PS3 against other people for money.

With the way the economy is today, I can't see why I can't participate in this. Any extra income would be good at this point.

Either way, I'm wondering if there would be any support for this in TN? I've emailed all of the state officials this morning and plan on emailing them every morning until I get a good enough reason why I can access porn all day but not bringit.com.

As far as the website goes, I'd love to write a little review of it but they won't even let me in. The fact that I live in TN is enough to not even allow me to register with the forums. Anyone within the states listed cannot even register. If your state is involved and you'd like that change that, I'd suggest starting the way I have today. Contact everyone you can.

If anyone here is from TN and has any interest in playing via this website, please repost or email me at w_d_wpc@live.com... or take it step further and email Phil Bredesen, Bob Corker, Dolores Gresham, and Vance Dennis.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Bringit.com

I remember you Yer Mom. No disrespect intended but it all looks pretty sketchy to me. The website is pretty slick and all but I wouldn't trust other people to handle my money. For me there is also a larger societal issue. The notion just strikes me as dysfunctional in an undefinable way. For me Games are for fun, not for profit.

I'm in MA. Good luck.

I remember you from back in the Natural Selection days!

I agree that computer games should be fun, not for profit.

Re: Bringit.com

I agree in most senses, but for someone in a job market such as mine, it's definitely worth it's weight in gold. I'm looking at a 45 minute drive just to make over $10 an hour... and that's when I'm lucky.

You don't actually let them handle your money from what I understand. It's kind've like signing a contract. You're required to pay whoever whatever... the website just stands as the contract you (and the other player) signed.

PayPal, or whatever method you decide to use, handles the rest. At least, that's my understanding. I can't even register because of this state law.

Was just wondering if anyone else was interested, though.

NS2 is coming out soon. I'll see you guys there... :P

Welcome back Mom! I, too, can definitely remember the days of yelling "MOM-FADE! FALL BACK!" to my fellow marines...usually a second or two before i died.
