Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
Downloaded it and just played it for a couple mins. It reminds me a whole lot of Quake Wars and the gameplay doesn't look too bad but it will take some getting used to.

Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
So how is it?
I was indifferent about this one until I saw the trailer, now I'm quite looking forward to it. Anyone in the beta think it has TG potential?

Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
I played it last night for about 30 mins, was a lot of fun imo. And imo it does have TG potential, you can drop in from space as a squad anywhere on the map... and as long as there is VOIP for in squad chat it could be good stuff for TG.

Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
Yeah, I enjoyed what I played from the closed beta's. The dev's released patches for it pretty regularly. Lot of changes were made based off user feedback.

Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
Looks interesting enough. Kind of makes me think of Tribes 2.

Re: Section 8 - Open Beta
This looks nice but I remain worried about being able to host a server on my colo Linux box.
