War movies
I don't know is it okay with such topic in here, but what is your best war movie you ever watched? Or most disgusting one you don't recommend to watch?
Or anything about - movies.
Lay down it up here! It's very interesting what we all think about it coz we all from different countries.
Right now I'm gonna watch this one - Taking Chance http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1019454/
What'd you say?

Re: War movies
Well Enemy at the Gates is a very good one.
My favorite has to Band of Brothers. It's not really a movie, more of a TV Series, but each episode is about movie length.

This one in my mind also...
I liked the ''camp'' section of Full metal jacket but the actual war movie part is so-so

Director Danis Tanovic.

Re: War movies
Not my favorite, but I just watched Tropic Thunder on DirecTV. Ben Stiller's spoof of war movies. Not bad.

I can't believe no one has mentioned The Longest Day.
I am disappointed in your fellas.

Re: War movies
Spanish Guerreros/Warriors 2002
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293191/
Plot
Daniel Calparsoro's Guerreros is set in the Balkans in the wake of the ethnic conflict between the Serbs and the Kosovo Albanians that prompted NATO military intervention in 1999. A group of young Spanish army engineers is stationed in a Kosovo village to help the Albanians recover from the war's devastation. The unit is sent on a mission to restore electricity to a small town in hostile territory, but their operation is derailed when they get caught up in the fighting between Serb and Albanian paramilitaries. Struggling to stay neutral, the peacekeepers find themselves fighting for survival as they scamper around the Balkan countryside searching for a way back to headquarters. Their descent into the quagmire of ethnic fighting tests the limits of their idealism and underscores the moral complexities posed by humanitarian intervention. This polished actioner screened at the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival. ~ Elbert Ventura, All Movie Guide
Redacted 2007
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0937237/
Director Brian De Palma.
Maybe some idiots think it's anti-american movie.
No it's not.
It's anti-any-war movie. It's anti-war crime movie. It's anti any such things ever be happend.
Yes it is.
