To honour all those that lost their lives in all countries because of human wickedness and those who fought for freedom.

And so the hurt goes on. I am bewildered that there is no official commemoration in the UK, whilst Europe still suffers..
I hope we all remember we are one people. To those in Europe as well as elsewhere my heart goes out to you. But my homeland, Europe, I think of you mostly today.
