My wife and I are very sad. We've been Swayze fans for a very long time. May he rest in peace.

I always liked him. Very sad but at least he lived a good life. We hear so much about Swine Flu which has killed very few people but Cancer is one of the top killers. Prayers are with his family.

I enjoyed his films, he wasn't a bad actor and he was a great dancer.

Re: RIP Patrick Swayze

I watched Red Dawn on Sunday, was really shocked to hear this on the news this morning. Only 57 years old, too.
RIP.

now you are talking...with a side dish of "WOLVERINES!!" please.

Brilliant...ah...I don't know about that. Entertaining...certainly. Too young to die for sure no matter what.

Re: RIP Patrick Swayze

Its 11:59 on Radio Free America; this
is Uncle Sam, with music, and the truth until Dawn. Right now Ive
got a few words for some of our brothers and sisters in the
occupied zone: "the chair is against the wall, the chair is against
the wall", "john has a long mustache, john has a long mustache".
Its twelve oclock, American, another day closer to victory. And
for all of you out there, on, or behind the line, this is your
song. [the Battle Hymn of the Republic begins to play]
