eReader question.
Im in the market for one of those eReader devices and need a little advice. If you had to choose between The Kindle from Amazon or The Nook from Barnes and Noble which one would TG choose?? and of course why?

Re: eReader question.
Personally I'd go for the Kindle. Being able to wirelessly download books is awesome. That said it's to pricey and the books way to expensive to warranty a purchase right now.

Re: eReader question.
I'd go for the B&N Nook, only because the Amazon has already proven that it's not afraid to make paid-for eBooks disappear from your Kindle...

Re: eReader question.
After looking at that chart it looks as though you'll be able to wirelessly download books on the nook as well (although not over the cell network thusly not anywhere you want). If they lowered the price on the Nook it'd be quite tempting.

Re: eReader question.
Oh, yeah, the nook is going to be using AT&T's 3G network for wireless downloads, which is better for me, as ATT has much better coverage in my town...

Re: eReader question.
Would it be practical to create an ereader that would piggyback off an Android phone? That could potentially reduce the cost of the reader, while increasing its versatility.

Re: eReader question.
That was one mistake, for which the President apologized. I am not sold on the nook yet. I also have a Kindle and it also goes everywhere I do.
FYI..BN is currently being sued for copyright infringement.

Re: eReader question.
I have a older sony reader PRS-500 and have been happy with it although it doesn't deal with PDFs very well compared to new models.
The nook also seems to be sold out for the most part until the beginning of next year.

Re: eReader question.
No, the Nook handles PDF just fine. As do quite a few other readers.
