Haha! Yeah.. so many Bible ideas in there eh? Like the aircraft carrier washing ashore onto Washington D.C. Reminds me of my favorate Bible passage...
Fakorations 1:5...
.. And the Lord saw the Pride of the people and their great monuments. And he sent ashore a nuclear powered Nimitz Class carrier to smite them for their sins...

Re: 2012 Movies Reactions
So I was on twitter last night and Drew Carey, whom I follow for a cause (if he gets 1,000,000 followers by christmas [i think, maybe new years] hes going to donate a million bucks to the Livestrong charity) retweeted something from the fat guy on the sarah silverman show stating that "all the weed in the world couldnt make 2012 bearable". Sounds like RAVE reviews to me.
By the way, this makes me thing we oughtta resurrect the "doomsday scenario" thread we had a while back. I'd like to see what new ideas people have come up with.

Re: 2012 Movies Reactions
Saw it on Friday, dumbest, most irritating and longest disaster movie I have ever seen. I thought the Day After Tomorrow was absurd (and I actually though ti was pretty entertaining) but this was plain old ridiculous.
The characters were annoying, it was waaay too long (almost 2 hours 45 minutes), and it just seemed completely absurd. I mean, come on people, there's no way an 8-year old would make Colonel
!
It was also the only movie I've seen where the entire audience gets up and starts leaving before the movie actually ended (when they start panning to the Earth from orbit everyone just up and left).

Disaster movies don't interest me. But you might want to check out NASA's information on the end of the world:

Re: 2012 Movies Reactions
People wonder why only sequels and remakes of movies are being created, because with movies like 2012, it just goes to show that Hollywood has run out of ideas and the people in charge of these movie studios and the actors who star in them are completely full of SH** and will do anything and everything to make a buck.
I actually had some respect for John Cusack, had being the word......
I will respect someones view if they enjoyed it, I am not here to tarnish their liking of a movie, hell I enjoy movies that makes some of my friends wonder why they are friends with me in the first place, but from a personal stand point this movie sucked, it was so stupid, the same themes/story lines were used that were used in deep impact, day after tomorrow, volcano, dante's peak etc etc etc....
The sad thing is that 2012 will be nominated for an academy award for its special effects, personally, I didn't think they were that great, I have seen those same effects in movies time and time again.
Having watched this movie only makes me want purchase diesel powered pick up trucks, or large non hybrid SUV's and put down the windows while i crank the AC.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

My one and only concern is the lunatics living the time prior to its fullest capacity and doing stupid things.

I always wondered if the Mayans had a date their civilization would end on their calendar. If not, why would anyone expect any other dates to be correct?
