Merry Christmas!
... or so my local grocery store might be implying, as they have begun selling Santa Claus figurines and the like as of about a week ago.
I remember, "in my day," when it was bold for retail outlets to pierce the Turkey Day barrier when it came to advertising Christmas.
Now they've broken the Halloween border.
Perhaps my childhood wish of it being Christmas every day will one day manifest itself after all.Steam Community? Add me. | Join #tacticalgamer | Search Results Legend | New Posts Forum Filter | Postbox Toggle | Live Thread Review | One Line Results | Free Remote, Encrypted Backup
Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Re: Merry Christmas!
I think the marketing has the opposite effect, well for me it does anyway. I mean back in the day it was December when the hype started and everybody got excited about the build up. Now it starts so early, nobody wants to hear about it and when the time does arrive the waiting has gone on for far too long.
That's the commercial aspect anyhoo, as for the religious side of it that's a whole new kettle of fish!
