Just got a new Canon a95 today so naturally I had to subject myself to abuse from you lot...

...and if you can poke fun at someone else you can just go ahead and post a frickin' picture of yourself.

I dont mean to scare you sniper, but i think you cought some paranormal phenomenon in your shots...

If you look at the first picture, you will see a white hovering spot, near your belt, and if you look to your left, you will see a "smudge" effect that is not present on the second picture....

Lastly, if you look to your right, you will see transparent "droplets" of light... although i admit those could be something else such as lense glare, as they do appear in the second shot, but in a different area (top right).

I believe in paranormal activity, and i also believe that it is possible to capture it on camera (or tape recorder) and i believe what you have there is some of that stuff...

Did you clean your lense after taking the first shot but before taking the second shot? If so, that might explain what i'm seeing here

I smiled, and I didn't take the picture myself at arm's length. I broke away from my computer long enough to interact with another human being and get them to take a picture.

Re: Show us your picture (newer ones.. that is :P)

same reason I have 9...... BECAUSE HE CAN!!!!!!!!!!

and there is something to be said for clicking one power strip and hearing the equivelant of a jet engine..... (total noise for my room with all 8 desktop computers running with all 63 fans was 112 db..... the laptop isnt loud enough to contribute) most of the time though 2 or 3 were up and only 2 or at most 3 fans per box turned way down, effectively making output closer to 45 or 50 db, but showing off that noise was cool from time to time......

and yes, 9 computers is completely necessary.... but I have since consolidated to 5 with vmware and a new laptop...

computer 1 - primary gaming computer
    computer 2 - Laptop
computer 3 - game server (ghost recon)
computer 4 - game server (flight sims)
    computer 5 - web/ email/ file/ print/ firewall server (also test computer for slot a chips)
computer 6 - test computer for amd socket a with ddr or sdram and agp
computer 7 - test computer for intel socket 1 (372) with sdram
computer 8 - test computer with at mobo, sdram, 72 pin simm, and super 7
computer 9 - audio/ video/ picture editing and tivo computer

computers 3, 4, and 5 were always on, and the rest were on when needed.....

computer 1 is merged to computer 2 (a downgrade, but easier to manage) as well as computer 9 being merged in there too... (one bag and I can record, edit, and produce near hollywood quality recordings, DVD's and CD's)

the gamer servers are gone, and the test computers remain for what they are, not what they do... I need to be able to test any random part that comes in, and this is the only way to do it.......

in conclusion, no pic needed, just imagine the biggest geek you can, and give him the nick "DdogG" and it's me! but for you people complaining about not knowing what ppl look like, this is me:

The two most common elements in the universe are Hydrogen and stupidity. -Harlan Ellison

oh my.. MY HOUSE IS HAUNTED!! AHH!!

It was probably just smudges on the camera. Notice how there are different light shades in each picture? It probably just has something to do with the ligh angles on dust and stuff. There are occasional pictures that we take with it that has blurry images on it, so i think it's just the camera.

If that spec of light in the 1st pic around my belt IS a ghost...

i hope it wasnt a gay ghost :P
