I was just listening to the chronic 2001 album and thinking to myself "how much better this is then rap now adays." I can listen to dre, ice cube, snoop, nwa, eazy e, and MC Ren all day but I cant stand 30 seconds of those losers like lil wayne, kanye, jay z, tyga and all those guys. Garbage.

Rap by the founders wasnt about "mo money, mo bitches" it was about real things like the struggle growing up in near poverty in the "ghettos" in LA. They had a reason to rap other then just flashing how much money they managed to make off kids who dont even know who people like Dr Dre is. Sure they rapped about "hoes" and stuff sometimes but if you really listen to their lyrics its hardly ever about that.

I hate to post a video with eminem in it (I hate that guy) but this song describes exactly what I was talking about. I hope that Dre finishes that album that hes been rumored to be working on. That single "I need a doctor" is supposed to be part of it but who knows. Its been 11 years since the Chronic so anytime I guess.
