I am new here at Tactical Gamer and I just purchased Arma X for my PC. Just figured out how install the mods and everything! Wow, this game has a steep learning curve! I have a couple of questions though, what mods are needed to play on the TacticalGamer servers and what is the Teamspeak server? I couldnt find it!
Sorry for the noob questions, I am coming from Battlefield 3 (PS3 Version) of which I have a KD ratio of 1.60! I wanted to further expand my FPS gaming and Arma seemed like the best way to go!
I look forward to hearing from you and playing along side you!
Woohoo! More ArmA people! Wonder where they're all coming from? Had loads joining recently. Anyhow, welcome! Poke anyone online on Teamspeak in the ArmA channel - those in the Bravo channel specifically will probably be able to help you setup addons etc.
Teamspeak Address: 74.52.1.234:9988
For the addons, if you have SixUpdater installed, put the following URL into your web browser, then allow it to open the file in SixUpdater - it should automatically make the preset and start downloading the Bravo server modset. sixupdater://six.tacticalgamer.com/bravo/tgbravo.yml
Edit: Online right now if you want help with anything.

Glad to have seen you and having you in my Squad last night. The mission we were running was having problems with the in-game Von so the Admins shut it down and restarted it only to have the same problem occur again. It was brought to our attention that the problem occurs when having too many members in a Squad. So,by limiting the Squad slots to 6 or 8 members, maybe the in-game Von problem will be solved. Within the Squad we will talk thru the Direct Channel. Looking fwd to seeing you again.
I love how a load of the ArmA community here on TG has swarmed this thread. We're not desperate, honest!
Thats because you all have nothing better to do
And welcome to TG, Jonathan

Jonathan you're a good Arma squadmate, glad to have you in the TG community!
If you end up interested in BF3 on the PC, the TG BF3 servers are the best for teamwork and coordination, with the uber helpful auto-squad-placement TS3 support (that puts everyone into separate channels based on which side/squad they are in).
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
