    Killer,
You ever thought of doing some free-lance work? Putting an ad in the paper or something for home tech support? Maybe not $125 an hour like you would charge work, but something reasonable....maybe $75 an hour? TONS of little ol' ladies that need Ad-Aware run on their machines.
Just a thought.....could get you by during this dry spell.

    Bad luck Killer.

My university gives some excellent careers advice which you might find helpful. It is aimed at students in Britain, but there is loads of specific, useful advice about CVs, interviews, psychometric tests etc that is universally applicable.

And of course, the silver lining in all this is that you will have more free time for gaming and TG.

    Re: I was Downsized Today

Thank you all for the support and information.

I did get my dose of personal justice today when I went back to gather my few remaining belongings. My manager told me they were having an issue with a portion of one of the projects I implemented and are going to have to hire outside help to fix it. Now this could be contstrued as a slam on my part for improper implementation. However, it was a relatively new product to my former employer and was bound to have a few kinks here and there while things were ironed out. As a matter of fact, before I was terminated I was in the process of solving one of those issues. So I don't take it as that. Oh well, it isn't my concern anymore.
