FarCry Demo anyone? (SCREENSHOT INTENSIVE)

For years I've been wanting to try some jungle warfare out and this seems pretty close. GR's IT addon wasn't dense enough but this look the ticket.

I've had a look at the Multiplayer Beta as well, and I don't think this is going to be a large problem. Of the 3 mulitplayer maps that are curently in the beta, none of them have the level of vegitation that the single player demo has. There are spots, but no extensive forests or anything.

I was looking at it as a feature moreso than a problem. I've never quite got into sniping in games where a "long" distance is down a long hallway. Outdoor environments like OFP and this game allow snipers to do what they were really meant to do. :-)

I found 'em. The amount of gore they produced was pretty realistic. I moved the carcass around and it left a trail of blood and pooled blood wherever it sat.

I just looked at the demo and it looks pretty interesting. As far as the graphics go, I'd love to see Battlefield 1942 with the water effects this one has.

Yeah. I checked it out. Looks fun. Sloooooow rockets. But that was kind of nice too.

Loved that sniper rifle. Needs more ammo! And I think I beached about 10 zodiacs and a couple of patrol boats trying to mess around. I also tried to dive down to the bottom out in the sea. That was fun. Like scuba diving except you die without an oxygen tank.
