I managed to get realVNC access through a browser with Riykers help last night. I just need to try it at work now through port 80. Realvnc takes 100 off the port number for some reason. The port number is changed in the registry and would have to be set to 180. It seems to work ok through IE from our test last night so tomorrow I'll try it at work. Thanks again all. |

Re: I need my IP addy - help!
I have some success. I can get the PW screen up in IE but when I enter it I get the following message.
java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Operation timed out - this is going through the proxy. Now if I use our test room which doesn't go through the proxy I get this slightly different message. java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Host unreachable. I have no firewall software running and Riyker was able to connect the other day. As far as I know no settings have changed. I should be able to connect from the test room but can't. Anyone got any ideas? thanks, |
