Awesome! The first banner is in rotation...I just saw it on a page

I will buy the second now!

P.S. Apophis, is there a way you can tell how much traffic you get from this endeavor? I'm curious to know just how many people are interested in our community

Re: Calling all Banner-Makers!

Ok! We now have all the banners on this page hosted on the SA forums. You'll probably get one every 10 refreshes....

If you want to see for yourself, go to forums.somethingawful.com. Just keep clicking refresh until you see our ads.

Totally worth the price. For 8.95, you can buy a banner ad. And it's damn good advertising.

Ten bucks puts it in rotation for how long? A week? A month? And how many banners are already in the rotation?

I just refreshed over one hundred times and didn't see ours... I noticed some ads repeated with much greater frequency than others, however...

LMAO this is the first ad that came up when I visited the site. Looks like the new Apo version hasn't updated yet, but it's working, anyway.

Great idea Miko. I'll be interested to learn the results.

Re: Calling all Banner-Makers!

I agree... I saw our add once... then refreshed forever and never saw it again... And like CD I noticed some were on there many more times than others as far as the frequency you would see them in the rotation...

Re: Calling all Banner-Makers!

One ad runs for 30 days.

I just ran a little experiment. I refreshed the page 100 times. Out of those hundred, I got 5 of our banner ads (2 "tired of pubbies, made by wyz", 3 NS ones by wyz [no banners by apo ]).

That's not bad. 1 out of 20 refreshes will get an ad. And the average user has to going through at LEAST 20 refreshes a day. This means that hopefully we will be getting across to everyone.
