I would love it if the desktop were this customizable:

Most of them are Cing, with some tweaking. The closest analog to Aston Shell for linux is Afterstep. I've been looking at that as a low memory alternative.....

No, just floating ideas. Obviously, depending on the walls, etc., the text color should change, and the size of the basic tags can shift. But the basic idea is there: hardcore font, the dogtags, and the web address.

But it could be better.

That's EXACTLY what I had in mind for the logo! Clean it up just a bit and it'll be perfect!

Cingular... you're killing the creative content!

Trooper and myself I think were wanting to go with original and unique (aka fun >< )

Unless someone beats me to it before I get home, I'll put up a picture with the normal TG logo replacing OS with Gamer (no frills!).

Hey nothing wrong with fun...but don't forget, we have an opportunity to co-brand like a mother-* here with the TG tags. We would be fools to drop an opportunity like that.

Re: Announcing the Tactical OS Project

Remember when Apple used the multi colored rainbow 80's icon of looser?

I just think there's always room to push something more. Instead of defaulting to the standard, makes sense to push different limits and see what turns up.
