Re: Does your dad play games?

The last games my dad played were Monkey Island and Loom back in 93 (two of the best adventure games ever made). He hates games now (he doesn't mind me playing them though).

My mother has always loathed games ever since she saw me play Doom at the age of six. She watched me play it for about 2 minutes and then took it away from me. Apparently there is something wrong with 6 year olds playing "mass-murder simulations".

Re: Does your dad play games?

When im a dad ill still be playing....no doubt.

My parents dont play but theyre cool about it. When I was 10 I was allowed to buy M rated games..I convinced them in about 5 minutes that video games do not have an effect on my brain because i understand theyre not real and just a simulation (shortly afterwards I axed a kitten (jk)).

They accept that im teh ultra 1337 gamer (lol) and spend my money on things like dual 7800 gtx's.

I keep pushing my dad to play an fps.....one day...one day he will break.

Theyre also cool with me pirating music, movies, etc etc
