Re: In the off chance that any of you here listen to metal...

I was jogging earlier and remembered these: Rammstein, Further Seems Forever, Nirvana, Killswitch Engage, Candiria, Hawthorne Heights (they're so so, not too distuingishable), Strongarm, Thursday, and The Killers.

Someone mentioned Dredg, theyre insane. i got to see em in concert when they came to Austin and it was amazing, they have a very unique style of music. As for metal, anyone heard of the band The Haunted? Download some of their ****, their song Hollow Ground is one of their best.

Geez.. and I believed I was the only one who knew SDMM

Normally I listen to Chronix Aggression Radio - http://www.chronixradio.com/. Lots of the bands quoted are being played there.

Jesu are light compared to most truely heavy music and they're heavier. For the utmost painful ammount of heavy possible, look into Sunn O))).

For anyone with realplayer, here is a Jesu track

For those without... well, you can probably find something somewhere.

For sheer brutality? Wormed by a mile.

The Red Chord. The Locust.

on the 'lighter' side: mewithoutyou

did I mention 'Tony Danza and the Tapdance Extravaganza' ? Thier song 'Big Puns not Dead because I Just Saw Him at the Krispy Kreme' is pretty good. It's really thier titles that are eye openers.

Oh, and 'Horse the Band' rocks too.
