Are You an Eagle Scout??
Going from a post Mister_Penguin made about doing his eagle project I wanted to see who all here is an Eagle Scout. If you are reply saying so and what date you earned it. You can also list any other major awards you earned.

Woud've been an eagle, but ended up moving before I could get to it, and never got back into scouts. So I ended at Life, I think it is? (it's been awhile)

Well if being a dork is what it takes to go whitewater rafting, backpacking, rock climbing, mountatin biking, canoeing/kayaking, and rappelling, I really don't care.

In what way is being an Eagle Scout being a dork? Please enlighten me. Hmm, let's see they do things that push them in all areas of their mind and body, they develop to be mature individuals and leaders, and they have a respect for all mankind that most will never have. If that's being a dork, I'll be one any day...
And no, I didn't make Eagle. My 18th bday hit before I could get it. I did however get into OA. To me, that was a great accomplishment as all of your scout troop had to vote you in as best eligible scout. That and the smile my grandfather had as he too had been in scouts and also a member of OA. We then shared stories of our experiences. Cool beyond belief.
Don't look at scouts as what they currently are, respect and admire them for what they WILL become....
In the pursuit of... something.
