"Played"

Up in the morning, to the job site each day,
Work for a living, then come home to play.
Take care of loved ones, kiss kids goodnight,
Now my hand's on my mouse, it's time to fight.

Georgians 'round the corner, gorges in my hive,
Protect that bombsite, take 'em dead or alive.
Bogies on my six, break right then dive,
I'm better than you... you won't survive.

Sure you're my friend, I've known you for years,
But that doesn't matter, I'm the source of your fears.
You think I don't see you, you think you're alone.
But I'm just waiting it out, waiting to own.

Then it happens, I happen, and you've lost, you're defeated.
Your pride is deleted, expired, baleeted.
You thought you could beat me, you thought you could win,
But in fact you were wrong, oh well... try again....

And again, and again... and again to defeat me,
But each night you fail, each try is less easy.
I'm a target unseen, a pursuer none hide from,
I play you each night, then say "Come and get some."

I'm the source of your anger, your love, and your hate,
The birthplace of fear, while you sit scared, and wait.
I'm the master of tension, the sweat on your fingers,
When the game is long over, my energy lingers.

But it gets you, you know it... something special's begun,
The tension, the anger.. they're all in good fun.
All these senses excited, the adreneline's pumpin',
But you just want it more, your heart is still thumpin'.

I'm Tactical Gamer, and you cannot escape me,
You can't run, you won't run, you live to embrace me.
Play what you like here, it makes difference none,
When you play here with friends, you've played here and won.

With guns.
