Re: Pandora - free online radio
Pandora's Jar is the app that will rename the mp3's and save in a specified directory.
Just an FYI all this app does is renames the files pandora downloads to your machine. There is no DRM or any form of encryption on the files pandora downloads. They are mp3 files but are not named anything to identify what song they are. This app just does the id tag lookup and renames the files.
Having said that, I have not used this app in a while. It may be that pandora has been forced to encrypt the audio it downloads to your machine. But I kinda doubt it.
Have Fun!
Update: I just downloaded the latest version (7.4.0 beta) and it works fine.Last edited by flux; 12-19-2006 at 12:44 PM.

A+ flux, thanks! - though the last.fm trick is on the ethical borderline (probably over it).

Re: Pandora Radio
I just wanted to bump this back up to the top, as I'm listening to Pandora right now and am amazed at how she finds music that I've never heard of that I like instantly.
Give Pandora an hour or two per radio station that you create, and she will amaze you too!

Re: Pandora Radio
Very awesome. I was surprised when it started giving other bands form the same genre.

Re: Pandora Radio
Any of you guys still using this? They added a "friends" feature - I'd be interested in checking out what stations you guys have created. If you want to add me, the address is whiskeysix@tacticalgamer.com

Re: Pandora Radio
If TG wasn't the best thing since sliced bread than Pandora would hold that honor.
My account is...... docarce@bellsouth.net
Favorites are Red Hot Chilly Peppers(even though I removed them from the station) and Unkle

Re: Pandora Radio
I'm constantly adding, removing and editing my stations. In fact, the stations might barely resemble their title because I've added artists and thrown lots of thumbs up and down at 'em...
I probably listen to my Jazz station the most, which has been customized mainly by giving thumbs up to songs with acoustic bass solos.
