I didn't even know there was a review until I saw this post. Does an announcement show anywhere on the home page when there's a new review?

LOL.. I didn't change a thing, I put the links up just as you had provided them. I found the proper files after looking on the site. It seems one of them was the right URL and the other ones were the thumnail links to the full images. I'm assuming i've grabbed the right ones.

Thanks Apo

It really is a good game and I'll be getting the expansion 'First Alpha' too. Last night we were in it thick. Took a hit near the Cambodian border and went down in the ging gang gooley valley. Both pilots killed - their blood all over the cockpit. We quickly buried them as best we could, no doubt the animals will dig 'em later but we had to di di outta there man, no way we could hang around too long, just long enough to set a c4 charge on the chopper for charlie to find later. As it was it wasn't long before we came across 'em. First there was one, then three and then hundreds of the little b*stards. Damn VC were crawling all over the area. And then as soon as they were there they were gone again - vanished into the jungle or trying to flank us. It was a hard battle but we did make it to the LZ eventually. While we waited for evac I had me some 'koon sa', sat back and admired the scenary.
Somewhere off in the distance I heard a boom.Last edited by jex; 03-26-2004 at 06:15 AM.

FIST Alpha... I've seen that labeled wrong so many times I'm about to have a fit. The game is really good and hopefully the expansion made it better. We'll find out for sure soon enough.

Re: vietcong review - pics too small
I have the Purple Haze pack, which is the original plus expansion. The expansion is more of the same, but in a good way. Both the original and expansion campaign seemed kind of short to me, however. Are you guys playing coop MP with just the original? I thought I read that you can only do that with the expansion, maybe they meant the campaign in the expansion is available for coop MP.

Re: vietcong review - pics too small
Yes we are playing with the original on coop mode. It's more of a tango hunt unless you play the ridiculously hard 'defend the base' (against an unlimited supply of VC hand grenade's it would seem). I'll be picking up fist alpha this week.

Gotcha. I think I read somewhere that with the expansion, you can play through the campaign missions in MP coop, but maybe only the expansion campaign.
