Google, and Yahoo spiders?
I was looking at the currently online members area, and I noticed about 30 Yahoo, and Google spiders. What are the spiders, and does anyone think it it wierd that they are there?

Re: Google, and Yahoo spiders?
Spiders "crawl" the site looking at pages so they can keep the search engines up to date. It's an extension of the whole "web" idea. So basically it's just the search engines seeing what has changed on TG to update their cache (and google seeing what's around to get an idea for what ads to show). If you absolutely must know more, there's plenty of info at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_crawler

TY, that was sufficient, and I thought they were along those lines a little.
