I was in Phoenix last weekend at shooting range off of the Carefree Highway North of Phoenix. The guy next to me had an MP5 PDK and MP5 Navy. Both supressed, my Nephew and I took of our hearing protection all we heard was a sound of the action on the weapon, eerily quiet........click, click, click
That' the interesting thing about guns. Firing one makes three separate noises, and if the main one (The bullet reaching subsonic speed I believe it is) is cut, it sounds almost frighteningly less 'dangerous.'

Re: Automatic gun video

Why was it 1.00 a round for a MP5? Correct me if I'm wrong but MP5's are 9mm right? What's so expensive about that??

BTW, yes, automatic guns are VERY fun to fire. Fully auto silenced weapons make me giddy....

For the same reason cabbies charge a dollar a mile. Wear and tear on the item you're renting, along with the owner's time not only while you're shooting, but to clean it after you're done. However, I've heard of guys charging $50 to shoot a couple of mags, and I've heard of people charging a flat $1 per round, but I've never heard of anybody gouging suckers by charging BOTH rates!
