Deep Throat
Today i connected to th bf 1942 dc server for some practice and was attacked by a trojan horse called deep throat that my firewall said was from 209.19.57.201 has anyone else had this happen?

What exactly is telling you you're being attacked? I know some software will incorrectly identify various games and common network activity as being a trojan, but in looking at the .201 server I can't find any issues at all.

Diplomacy is the art of saying "good doggie" while looking for a bigger stick.

norton personal firewall ,i have been playing here quite a while and this is the firts time its happened.also the first time ive heard of that trojan.my firewall did its job though and no harm done i think,but i thought i should share the info and see if any one else had the same problem.

You did the right thing, cuase im sure TG wouldnt want to be responsible for spreading something like that.

I used to get the same warnings when I was using Norton Internet Security 2003. I now have a router with built in firewall and don't see any of those warnings anymore. Routers are cheaper and you don't have to update them every other day.

I'm currentley running Norton 2003. I know I need to update. Anyway never saw that trojan warning ever and i use to play DC on that server all the time.....
